Job Summary
This Full-Time LPN position involves working on a nights schedule. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting in the direction of nursing services for our unit/hall. Key responsibilities include observing patients for symptoms and reactions, assisting with notifying attending physicians, implementing changes in orders, and performing other duties assigned. Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, and be willing to work as charge nurses and work as needed during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for our unit/hall
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, including their general physical and mental condition
- Assist with notifying attending physicians of emergencies and deaths
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians
