Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our team as a full-time caregiver. As an LPN at Liberty Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who share your commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nursing Services: Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegation and Monitoring: Delegate duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel and monitor their work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Patient Observation: Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition, for signs indicative of adverse change.
- Communication and Implementation: Assist with notifying attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit, and implement changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
Requirements:
- Education: High school graduate with a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Licensure: Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and proof of license renewal every other year.
- Certifications: CPR certified yearly.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
