As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality nursing care for our patients. This includes administering medications as ordered by physicians, following state and federal regulations, and adhering to our facility's policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including assessing patients' conditions and developing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordinated care.
- Leading and guiding nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in geriatric nursing.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and proof of renewal every two years.
- Ability to work well with all nursing personnel, other departments, and have understanding, patience, and tact in working with patients, families, doctors, and others.
