We are seeking an experienced License Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a full-time basis. As an LPN at Liberty Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where you can make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
The successful candidate will assist in the direction of nursing services for our unit, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also be responsible for delegating duties to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel, while monitoring their work performance. Your role will include observing patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and/or mental condition, and notifying the attending physician of emergencies or death of patients in the unit.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a high school diploma and be a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. You must also hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year. Additionally, you will be required to complete in-service training and attend staff meetings as necessary.
