As a Patient Transport Specialist at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our residents. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity to work in a caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates all aspects of transporting residents, including scheduling and route planning.
- Ensures proper maintenance of all facility vehicles, including regular inspections and routine maintenance.
- Representing the facility in a professional manner when dealing with the medical providers that patients are transported to.
- Maintaining required logs of each transport and for each vehicle.
Requirements
- Valid NC Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle with an appropriate driving record.
- Current registration with DFS as a Nursing Assistant or as an Emergency Medical Technician in North Carolina.
- Ability to be flexible in performing different tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Transportation experience preferred.
