Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing.
- At least two years of clinical nursing experience, with one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs and the nurse's role in patient care teams.
- Working knowledge of nursing principles and practices according to the nursing practice act, agencies' policies and procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
- CPR certification.
- A commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.
