Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assessing clients using a variety of psychological tests to measure and evaluate intelligence, cognitive abilities, interest, personality, and mental attributes
- Interviewing and observing clients
- Formulating diagnoses
- Developing and implementing strengths-based recovery plans
- Actively participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings
- Collaborating with medical, clinical and ancillary professionals
- Documenting services and client developments in an electronic medical record system
- Preparing clients for a successful transition into the community
- Keeping abreast of best practices in the field of Psychology
