In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types in commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning, buffing, and custodial services. The Floor Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents, guests and staff.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Execute buffing and polishing of hard surface floors to enhance their appearance and longevity.
- Provide environmental services by ensuring all areas are clean, sanitized, and free from hazards.
- Collaborate with the custodial team to maintain overall cleanliness in commercial spaces.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing all cleaning tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in floor care or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of various floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
