Responsibilities

- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes in health status are communicated effectively.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, particularly for those with dementia or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies while demonstrating patience and empathy.
Skills
- Experience in direct support roles or as a nurse is preferred.
- Knowledge of home community care practices is essential.

Pay: $15.17 - $18.00 per hour
