What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant [Liberty Cardiovascular Specialists] position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Utilize training and experience as a medical assistant to room patients, obtain/record vital signs and perform phlebotomy. Will assist with patient care and perform interventions as delegated by the nurse. Will report observations/abnormal findings to the nurse or physician.
Required Education/Training: High school diploma; successful completion of medical assistant training program or a minimum of two (2) years' of experience in a clinical care setting
Required Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in a clinica care setting
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
