What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Safety Attendant [Nursing Resource Office] position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: In collaboration with the care team, observe and monitor the physical, mental and emotional health and activity of a patient who is deemed to need continual observation. Will also support patient rounding efforts to ensure overall safety needs.
Required Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent OR Advanced degree
Required Experience: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Preferred Education/Training: Formal education in the medical and/or behavioral health field
Preferred Experience: Experience de-escalating volatile individuals; experience working with behavioral health patients
