What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Responsible for blood collection procedures, performs clerical duties of the Department including daily computer operations, charting of results, answering telephone, and maintaining inventory of in-stock supply. Assists with processing send-out tests and pathology specimens.
Preferred Education/Training: High School diploma or GED
Preferred Experience: Previous laboratory, phlebotomy or direct patient care experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Nationally recognized phlebotomy certifications
