What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist [Inpatient] position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of professional physical therapy services, which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Assists patients in achieving optimum levels of functioning via evaluation, designing a treatment plan, and implementing and coordinating care with team members. Under the direction of the physician, the physical therapist will educate and treat patients with discomfort and pain, dysfunctions, limitations, and deformities. Physical therapists will utilize physical means of sound, light, electricity, water, heat, cold, exercise, and manual interventions. Documents plan of care, rehabilitative potential, and discharge plan.
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Missouri Licensed Physical Therapist; BLS
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Lymphedema Certification; American Institute of Balance Vestibular and Concussion Certification; Cancer Certification
