SUMMARY: Completes patient assessment. Develops and implements individualized plan of care. Performs nursing care and appropriate nursing interventions. Confers with physician regarding changes in patient condition. Assesses, develops, and implements patient education. Documents activities. Performs duties on the Vascular Access Team.
Required Education/Training: Graduate from a nursing program
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS Healthcare Provider; ACLS
Preferred Education/Training: BSN; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: One (1) year patient care experience; recent experience performing procedures that require sedation
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Vascular Access-Board Certified (VA-BC)
