What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Staff Nurse (LH Outpatient Surgery) position at Liberty Hospital?
SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Accountable for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Provides care within an assigned unit, and coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Required Education/Training: Graduate from a nursing program
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS Healthcare Provider
Preferred Education/Training: BSN; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: Minimum one (1) year recent operating room experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Operating Room (CNOR)
