Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle night audit responsibilities efficiently. We have one opening for 3pm to 11pm and one opening for 11pm-7am.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly and professional check-in experience.
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing accounts and preparing daily financial reports.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Handle phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
- Assist with guest relations by ensuring all needs are met during their stay.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Make sure breakfast is prepared out on time and breakfast area is clan and stocked.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to perform night audit functions accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective guest relations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
