Pay Range $30-$45 depending on experience
Required: Related 5 years experience minimum, Valid Driver's License, and Knowledge of Plumbing a code.
Position Summary: This position is responsible for on site management of a Project from the Startup Meeting to successful completion, including planning, organizing, and managing of the Company's manpower, materials, equipment, and the coordinating of the job site with project contacts. Communication with Project Managers to laborers.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Assigning responsibilities to field personnel.
- Achieving quality standards.
- Inspection of work performed.
- Attaining all operational and productivity goals including budget adherence and productivity levels of field crews and subcontractors.
- Ensuring a safe environment.
- Ensuring that the company provides materials, Equipment and supplies on a timely basis for field personnel.
- Enforcing all company policies and procedures and operating the department in accordance with all applicable government rules and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assigning responsibilities to field foremen.
- Ensuring the attainment of all productivity goals.
- Ensuring the attainment of quality control goals.
- Preplanning and scheduling jobs with Project Managers and relaying information to field foremen.
- Interacting with Customers' personnel on job sites to ensure their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Ensuring sufficient parts, material, and supplies are on hand to meet installation goals.
- Recommending required equipment purchases.
- Ensuring all field paperwork (including daily work logs) is maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
- Keeping informed of trends and changes in the industry and incorporating them in the department as appropriate.
- Interpreting and ensuring field compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Operating within budgeted goals.
- Dealing with subcontractors and their work on projects.
- Keep up to date log of Job Data Sheets on all active projects.
- Participating in the investigation and solution of customer complaints as needed.
- Reviewing job costs on completed jobs to ensure profit standards.
- Ensuring the proper coordination and flow of information between the field and administrative personnel.
- Providing guidance and support for all positions reporting directly to the superintendent.
- Monitoring productivity levels and measuring against expectations and requirements continuously.
- Preparing all reports requested by the Project Manager.
- Keeping Project Manager informed of all problems, potential and actual, that cannot be resolved within the department.
- Keeping Project Managers informed of potential change orders.
- Preparing material lists and order sheets in support of projects.
- Plumbing/HVAC as built drawings are kept to date.
