What are the responsibilities and job description for the Esol Teacher position at Liberty Language Academy?
Liberty Language Academy in Orlando, FL is looking for ESOL Teachers to join our strong team. We are located on 7751 Kingspointe Parkway Suite 124. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality instruction to students of a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities, according to the programs they have been assigned to.
- Report to classes on-time and carry out instruction while adhering to the scope and sequence set out by the program to ensure all students are meeting the student learning goals established in each respective course syllabi.
- Required to accurately keep records of students grades and attendance in a timely manner and according to the school's policies. Teachers are also responsible for ensuring that students studying with them in group courses appear on the school's Learning Management software.
- Responsible for managing classroom space as an environment conducive to learning for all students
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to professional development in their field.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of classroom practicum teaching experience
- Must communicate in language of instruction at C1 level ( i.e., CEFR C1 )
- Must have formal academic background, consisting of, at a minimum:
- Undergraduate degree in teaching in the field of instruction ( e.g., TESOL, foreign language teaching degree, and/or related field).
- Undergraduate degree out of field, with valid CELTA, OR
- Undergraduate degree out of field , with TESOL certification
On campus classes morning shift 9:00-1:30and evening shift 6:00-9:30 availability for March 24th, 2025 in Orlando
We offer two hours of prep paid time. We also have a few designated holidays as well as the designated one week in Spring, one in Summer, one in Fall and two for Christmas off with pay .
Pay rates : $21-$24 per hour depending on education and experience ( 2 hours of prep time paid per shift/ per week )
