Practice Areas: Associate Attorney would primarily work in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation. Experience is a bonus, but not required for the right applicant.
Pay: We have a salary range listed for a "base salary". Associates would immediately be eligible to earn bonuses based on production.
**Associate Attorney Duties:**
- Manage and maintain legal caseload through private hires and court appointments
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Assist with case management and preparation for litigation
- Review and analyze legal documents and evidence
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Attend meetings and consultations with clients
**Skills:**
- Strong legal drafting skills
- Ability to litigate cases effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to negotiate favorable outcomes for clients
We are seeking a highly motivated Criminal Defense Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience with criminal defense and/or litigation. Requirements:
