POSITION SUMMARY:
The Office Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate general office operations. This position will perform a wide range of tasks to support multiple departments in the corporate office where duties will vary between different fields such as assisting the executive management, supporting the sales team and maintaining accounting records.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet, assist and provide general support to visitors
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate party
- Maintain appropriate levels of office supply inventory
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including mail, faxes, and email
- Ship and receive office packages
- Support accounting staff by reconciling statements and providing basic financial analysis
- Provide support to management and other staff as needed
- Act as the point of contact for the different regions
- Supervise office staff
- Monitor and arrange workloads to office personnel
- Create policies and procedures specific to the office
- Administer and submit documentation for new employees
- Perform orientations
- Schedule training
- Time & Attendance reporting for payroll
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 2 years office management
- Manage administrative staff
- Ability to sort, count, and verify numbers.
- Strong computer and data entry skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized and process-oriented.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and executive managers
- Ability to multi-task across multiple functional areas and prioritize tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
