Position Summary: The Paid Childcare Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining a pool of qualified paid childcare workers to support the ministry needs of Liberty Live Church at Greenbrier. This role involves scheduling workers for Wednesday nights, after-church events, group meetings, and other special ministry activities. The coordinator ensures that all Liberty Kids environments remain fresh, safe, and up to date, with regular involvement on Sundays, Wednesdays, and at special events.

Position Reports To: Kids Pastor
Hours: This is a 16-hour part-time position. Attendance at all Sunday and mid-week services and special events are required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Identify and recruit potential paid childcare workers to meet the needs of various church events and activities.
- Conduct initial interviews, background checks, and onboarding procedures to ensure childcare workers meet church standards.
- Maintain a roster of reliable and qualified childcare workers.
- Scheduling and Coordination:
- Create and manage schedules for childcare workers for weekly Wednesday night services, after-church events, group meetings, and special events.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels for each event, coordinating with ministry leaders and event organizers as necessary.
- Communicate schedules and expectations clearly to childcare workers.
- Ministry Environment Management:
- Ensure Liberty Kids areas are well-maintained, clean, and presentable for all events and services.
- Regularly update and refresh the environments to maintain a welcoming and engaging space for children.
- Event Support and Attendance:
- Be available to support Sunday morning services, Wednesday night activities, and special events as part of the 16-hour workweek.
- Provide on-site leadership to childcare teams during events to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for families.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Kids Pastor and other ministry leaders to align childcare needs with ministry goals and events.
- Attend relevant staff meetings and contribute to planning for childcare and event needs.
General Responsibilities:

- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kids Pastor and Campus Pastor.

- Works in coordination with the overall mission, goals, values, and objectives of the church which are summarized by the mission statement "Changing Lives, Communities and the World for Jesus Christ".

Conditions and Physical Requirements:
The job will primarily be carried out in an office setting and require sitting, standing, as well as bending, and carrying some moderately heavy items. Most of the work will be accomplished on the computer, but there will be a good portion of time spent in the kids ministry area as well.
