Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, who are primarily children and adults with disabilities. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in promoting independence and ensuring safety while delivering personalized care.
Duties can include any of the following:
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client’s condition to healthcare professionals.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Experience in a caregiving setting, particularly involving people with disabilities.
- Any job that required careful tracking and reporting is beneficial.
- Background in Emergency Medicine or Outpatient care is beneficial.
- Previous work in caregiving in an in-home or institution will be considered an asset.
