The Flexo Press Operator is a key contributor to our team. You will operate high-powered presses to cut precise labels while ensuring quality control, maintaining equipment, and contributing to efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading work orders for setup specifications and instructions.
• Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring labels are not lifting from your die cut.
• Being able to adjust your press as needed to correct quality and production issues.
• Monitoring your presses unwind and upper rewind tensions throughout every job.
• Locating job jackets based on job numbers. Retrieving the correct jacket and verifying the job number matches the corresponding production schedule to ensure accurate selection.
• Maintaining equipment in a safe, operating condition.
• Participating in training and supporting other team members.
• Complying with company policies, safety procedures, and core processes.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
• Collaborating with other departments for projects and validations.
• Embracing LEAN Principles for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 2 years of experience in the industry preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Basic math and intermediate computer skills. Ability to read a ruler or measuring tape.
• Team mentality with a drive for success and results

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

The production floor is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work on your feet and keep up with production demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
