Description
The Cyber Underwriting Manager leads a team of Underwriters in meeting and exceeding their retention, rate, and new business goals. The Manager holds a full suite of management responsibilities for the team : attraction, development, pay, performance management, and communication of underwriting strategy. Under direction from manager, focuses on the oversight of Underwriting execution, including administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, and analyzing the quality of policies underwritten by the team.
Responsibilities
- Contributes proactively to initiatives in areas outside immediate team unit.
- Maintains a visible external profile and strong relationships with external brokers and agents, leveraging these relationships to help the team achieve their goals and expand their own networks.
- Articulates and represents Liberty`s value proposition across the business and market.
- Focuses on building people management skills.
- May cover for manager where required.
- May deliver many of the responsibilities of an Underwriter at this level.
