About the Role:
As a Field Property Claims Adjuster with Liberty Mutual, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional customer experience by utilizing your investigative, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to resolve homeowner claims in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. In this position, you will frequently travel to loss sites to conduct thorough investigations and analyses of coverage, writing estimates for repairs. Every day presents a new and exciting challenge as our Field Property Claims Adjusters use cutting-edge homeowner's products and services to help customers navigate the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
You will investigate and evaluate on-site damage issues, including preparing complete repair estimates. You will handle moderate to complex claims independently while managing your workload from first notice of loss to final closure. Your work will involve explaining coverage of loss, assisting policyholders with itemization of damages, emergency repairs, and additional living arrangements. Additionally, you will coordinate vendor services such as contractors, emergency repair, cleaning services, and replacement services.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have a working knowledge of claims handling procedures and operations, demonstrated understanding of building construction principles, and proven ability to provide exceptional customer service. Effective negotiation skills, strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills, and computer skills are essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 1 year of directly related experience are required, along with the ability to obtain proper licensing as needed.
