Mortgage Loan Processor

Overview
We are seeking an experienced NMLS Licensed Mortgage Processor to join our expanding company. This position requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of mortgage lending processes.

Duties

• Review and verify loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and risk.
• Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and escrow agents to facilitate smooth loan processing.
• Maintain compliance with TILA regulations and other relevant guidelines throughout the loan processing cycle.
• Prepare and organize loan files for underwriting review, ensuring all required information is included.
• Utilize 10 key typing skills to efficiently input data into the loan processing system.
• Communicate effectively with borrowers to gather additional information as needed and provide updates on loan status.
• Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the processing of loans.

Experience

• Proven experience in mortgage processing or related roles within the financial services sector.
• Familiarity with loan origination systems and processes, including escrow and underwriting procedures.
• Excellent credit analysis skills with attention to detail in reviewing financial documents.
• Previous experience working in a bank or financial institution is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
