The successful candidate will oversee Liberty Oxygen's Human Resources, Payroll, and Regulatory Compliance, along with a small team comprising Administrative Assistants, Insurance Billing, Patient Collections, and Revenue Cycle functions. This role requires a thorough understanding of HCPCs and ICD-10 codes, as well as revenue cycle management. Responsibilities include forecasting, identifying, and resolving reimbursement issues with third-party payers. Effective communication and relationship management with payor sources, patients, and internal stakeholders are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with the management team.

Principal Responsibilities:
General Administration
- Supervise administrative staff and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Human Resources
- Recruit, hire, and onboard staff.
- Orient new staff to Liberty and provide ongoing training opportunities.
- Maintain employee HR files.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures.
- Oversee annual benefits review for staff.
- Address workplace conflicts and ensure a positive work environment.
Payroll
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including 401(k) data entry, expenses, and bonuses/commissions.
- Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee concerns.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Revenue Cycle Management
- Oversee billing processes to ensure accurate and timely claims submission.
- Set monthly KPIs for each collector and assist them in achieving these goals.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims.
- Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and collection goals.
- Maintain relationships with payer source contacts and participate in account/issue resolution as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding their accounts, answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Coordinate inter-departmental processes and procedures to ensure continuity and optimal workflow.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement management, with at least 3 years of experience managing people and processes.
- An Associate degree is required; experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
- Familiarity with medical coding (HCPCS, ICD-10) is a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge of payer requirements for claims processing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate understanding, reporting, and presenting financial end-of-month data.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software (Brightree).
- Skilled in using Excel, including pivot tables.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
