Electrical Substation Lead

Award-winning engineering & construction firm is seeking an electrical substation engineer to join it's growing team.

• Oversee and guide engineering teams. Mentor junior staff.
• Design substation systems, including protection, control, and physical layouts.
• Ensure quality and compliance in substation designs.
• Develop equipment specifications and assist clients during construction.
• Conduct field inspections and prepare reports.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead proposals, contracts, and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain clear communication and ensure project success.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission and distribution engineering/design (preferably 7 years with leadership experience).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing projects and teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• PE or PMP certification is a plus.
