As a Red Hat Linux Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and automating our Linux-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT and development teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Red Hat Linux systems in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible to streamline system provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Write and maintain Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into existing workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Support virtualized environments using VMware and cloud platforms like Azure (a plus).
• Assist with the integration and support of ERP systems such as SAP or Eclipse (a plus).
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience as a Linux Engineer, with a focus on Red Hat Linux.
• Proficiency in Red Hat Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Solid programming skills in Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, is a plus.
• Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Eclipse is a bonus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or similar certification.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  
  

Work Schedule:

• This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
