Plumbing Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of plumbing systems for a variety of projects.

Responsibilities include:
- Leading the plumbing design of multiple projects of various sizes
- Selecting, specifying, and estimating costs of plumbing system equipment
- Complete design of plumbing systems
- Prepare detailed plans, schematics, equipment selection, calculations, system layouts, and specifications
- Perform site visits, document conditions, take measurements, and photograph field conditions.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes and industry standards
- Deliver high-quality designs for a variety of clients
- Provide support during the construction phase, addressing design-related issues and ensuring project success
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university
- Three (3) or more years of plumbing engineering experience
- Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) certificate (ASPE) a plus
- Engineer in Training (EIT)/Fundamental Engineer desired
- Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus
- Proficient with AutoCAD/Revit to create plumbing drawings
- Microsoft office proficiency
- Plumbing code knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills maintaining professional relationships
