Site Superintendent
DESCRIPTION
Leader in New York City high-end residential construction is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on quality control and effective team leadership. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Oversee the scheduling and progress of construction activities using tools such as Primavera for project management.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration among team members.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
- Implement effective communication strategies to keep all parties informed about project status and updates.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract requirements and industry standards.
