Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and extensive experience in condominium and/or commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of structural engineering principles and demonstrate a proven track record in managing and executing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Design and analyze structural systems for condominium and commercial buildings, including foundations, framing, and load-bearing systems.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and other engineering professionals to develop integrated design solutions that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to evaluate existing conditions and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for construction documents.
• Oversee the work of junior engineers and support staff, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
• Review and approve structural plans, calculations, and reports.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices in structural engineering.
• Manage client relationships and address any project-related issues or concerns promptly.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on condominium and/or commercial projects.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects and leading engineering teams.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, STAAD).

• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with advanced structural design methodologies and technologies.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and understanding of zoning and permitting processes.
