What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Molding Material Handler - 3rd Shift position at Liberty Plastics?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare/manage materials on a daily basis to meet upcoming demand.
- Bucket material into machine containers throughout the shift.
- Calibrate press side color feeders to determine set points.
- Operate industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to material containers for ease of identification.
- Prepare & store finished goods as completed.
- Remove samples of material and/or labels with identifying information as needed
- Clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
- Disassemble containers when material is depleted
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three to six months related work experience
- Must have ability to read and write and comprehend instructions
- Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must have a valid driver's license and forklift license.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch.
- Must be able to lift/move up 50 pounds
- Vision ability include distance, peripheral, and depth perception
- Must be eligible to work in United States
- Must understand basic mathematics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
