JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a Director, Community Outreach whose responsibility is to conceptualize, develop and facilitate the implementation of projects related to community relations and outreach programs. Closely coordinates and communicates with management and clinicians. Works with representatives from various communities, organizations and neighborhoods with respect to the diverse populations and cultures. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of a Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in community/public health, business or communications preferred.
Formal Training: Background in public relations, community outreach preferred. A self-starter, highly organized with polished presentation and interpersonal skills. Possessing top level business management, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Licensure, Certifications & Registration: None required.
Work Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in community work within a professional services environment. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; a proven track record in developing and administering a community outreach program. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
