What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Therapist position at Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital?
At Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients in the Butler County area. As a Speech Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover from injuries or illnesses that have affected their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements. They will also possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as current CPR certification.
In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, therapists, and other experts to provide high-quality patient-centered care. You will communicate patient progress or problems to your supervisor and other team members, assist with patient scheduling, and document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
