We are currently seeking an Assistant Supervisor for The Center for Brain Injury and Rehabilitation and LHCSA programs in Cortland, NY. These are community-based programs that provide supports and services to assist individuals who have sustained a traumatic brain injury with successful inclusion within their community.
The center offers supports in the following areas : Service Coordination / Case Management, Independent Living Skills, Structured Day Program, Positive Behavioral Intervention Support Services, Community Integration Counseling, Community Transition Services and Home and Community Support Services. Offering a $1500 Sign On Bonus! Assistant Supervisor Position Summary : The Assistant Supervisor of Home Care Services aids in daily program operations related to PCA and Residential home care services, assists with supervision of the HCSS and Residential Program as well as drafts staff schedules and provides client coverage when necessary. Assistant Supervisor Job Responsibilities :
- Participates in planning, growth and development of existing and new residential and home care services.
- Participates in hiring process to include interviewing, onboarding, and orientation.
- Supervises Home Community Support staff in conjunction with Supervising Registered Nurse; and participates in senior staff meetings and individual supervisory conferences.
- Investigates, coordinates and documents recordable and serious reportable incidents per Agency and waiver requirements.
- Completes staff scheduling and assists with client coverage when necessary.
- Shares on-call responsibilities with other assigned staff.
Takes corrective action to ensure conflict resolution, staff coverage requirements, and crisis intervention. Assistant Supervisor Qualifications : High school diploma with (2) years supervision experience preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
