POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for constructing sheds for the manufacturing plant. The Builder's duties include basic carpentry to frame, roof, nail and caulk siding, hang doors, install windows, etc. to complete construction of sheds. In order to accomplish tasks they may need to operate a forklift and use ladders and scaffolding as well. This is a fast paced, production environment so the builder needs to have a keen eye for detail and a results driven approach with good multitasking and time management skills. This person should be able to work independently and also be able to follow instructions and floorplans. They may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to read and follow floor plans
• Cut, trim, and handle materials needed to complete the build
• Build walls
• Nail, caulk and router siding
• Install metal roof or shingles on roof
• Attach trim, hand doors, install windows, create lofts, and other additional to the buildings
• Use power equipment and hand tools needed to complete the build
• Obtain a forklift certification and correctly operate the forklift

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of pervious experience in construction

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment for employees will take place primarily inside a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility. Occasionally, employees will be expected to work outside in all types of weather conditions. Employees can expect to experience high levels of noise that is typically associated with a busy manufacturing environment. The employee must be able to tolerate an environment with paint/stain fumes and sawdust in the air.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• May occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Must be able to lift no less than 70 pounds
• Must be able to climb a ladder and be comfortable completing tasks while being 6 feet off the ground
• Must be able to obtain a forklift certification

COMPENSATION

Compensation for this position is commission-based, with uncapped earning potential. Your income will be directly tied to your performance, allowing you to earn based on the results you achieve. There is no limit to how much you can earn, giving you the opportunity to significantly increase your income through dedicated effort and success in meeting or exceeding your targets.
