Liberty Software is a healthcare technology company that develops software for retail pharmacies across the country. Our pharmacy management platform helps our clients increase profits, improve customer service, and enhance patient safety. We are seeking a knowledgeable professional with a drive for software quality assurance (QA) and details, as well as a heart for service, to join us as QA Analyst.
The QA Analyst will be responsible for assessing our software quality through manual and automated testing. Our QA department is dedicated to continuous improvement of our products, and this individual will join them in developing innovative solutions and consistent progress.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for windows, web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure continuous testing of applications.
- Use bug tracking tools to log defects and ensure timely resolutions.
- Assist with performance load testing
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, identify test strategies, and analyze test results to provide feedback and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience in related industries such as pharmacy or software support, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or prior QA experience a plus
- Critical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent written and verbal Commuinication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors in software
- Knowledge of software testing principles, bug tracking processes, and issue reporting preferred
- Software testing certification (such as ISTQB) and online courses (such as Udemy Coursera) a plus
- Familiarity with basic web technologies (such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) a plus
Must be able to regularly report for in-person work at our office in Southlake, Texas
