Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant will ensure our financials are recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and will be expected to maintain the highest level of integrity and ethical behavior in this position.

This is an in-person position located in Southlake, TX.

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Ensure vendor invoices are processed in a timely manner, including obtaining approval, matching invoices to purchase orders, and releasing the voucher for payment
- Research and reconcile vendor statements and issues, and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Develop thorough understanding of the Company’s accounting process
- Ensure employee credit card and personal expenses are recorded and entered correctly
- Manage the Company’s “evoucher” process to include posting of deposits received to customer accounts, applications to monthly invoices, distributing monthly reports and initiating customer refunds as needed
- Communicate and maintain internal and external relationships with vendors, employees, and customers including solving issues and discrepancies
- Ensure payments are processed appropriately, including mailing checks and initiating automated clearinghouse (ACH) payments
- Research, advise, and file state sales tax returns on a monthly basis
- Assist in month-end close activities, including month end accruals, inventory, depreciation/amortization entries, and other adjustments as needed
- Assist with specific projects and other ad hoc assignments as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field, with at least two (2) years of related accounting experience, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Experience in several broad areas of accounting, including A/R, A/P, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, purchasing, analysis, and reporting
- Understanding of revenue and deferred revenue, with experience in hardware and software (SaaS) industry a plus
- Intermediate Excel skills required, specifically including worksheet links, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
- Thorough proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Outlook and Word
- Experience using Netsuite software or similar accounting software a plus
- Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple duties and projects and prioritize accordingly
