Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. In this role, you will be an essential part of our distribution center, ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse processes. You will be responsible for various tasks including order picking, shipping and receiving, and operating heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Contractor will provide light industrial services such as moving palletized material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or loading a truck using MHE. MHE may include electric pallet jack. This will typically require familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment, ability to operate a pallet jack and ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and good reading, writing, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as cranes, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures is a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA regulations is essential.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
