Job Title : Temporary CDL Driver (Class A or B)
Location : Wood Dale, IL
Pay Rate : $23.00 per hour
Assignment Length : 3 weeks (2-3 days per week, averaging 30 hours per week)
Schedule : Open availability required
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver (Class A or B) for a temporary assignment in Wood Dale, IL. This role involves operating a 21-foot box truck for delivery routes across IL, MN, MO, KS, IA, and NE. The driver will be responsible for unloading deliveries at customer locations but will not be required to load orders at the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate a CDL Class A or B vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Deliver frozen food and dry goods to customers on assigned routes.
- Unload deliveries using a manual pallet jack .
- Lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Collect checks from customers (no cash accepted) and return them to office administration.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
