Job Summary:
As a service advisor you will work in the dealership and will serve as the liaison between the customer and service technicians. This position involves greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, and advising customers on the available services provided by Liberty Superstores. Service Advisors work with customers to determine problems with a vehicle, provide technicians with accurate repair descriptions and orders, along with providing the customer with an estimated cost of repair for services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and greet all customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Actively listen to the customer to determine their primary concerns along with any other relevant information and document accordingly.
- Provide the customer with an accurate written estimate for labor and parts and inform them of any additional recommended services.
- Schedule customer appointments and confirm the appointment time, concern, and estimated repair time with the customer.
- Communicate accurate repair orders with the service technicians and inform them of any other relevant information.
- Checks on the progress of repairs throughout the day and updates the customer of any changes on repair times.
- Obtains approval from the customer on any additional repairs needed and costs incurred.
- Verifying that the final invoices reconcile with the work performed on the repair order.
- Overseeing delivery of vehicles to the customer after payment has been received.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of customer service experience is required.
- One (1) to two (2) years of service advisor experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must hold and maintain a valid drivers license.
