Liberty Tax is seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Tax Preparers. In this role, you will provide exceptional tax preparation services, ensuring our clients receive the best possible financial outcomes while maintaining compliance with federal and state tax regulations. Whether you’re an experienced preparer or new to the field, we offer comprehensive training and support to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare individual and small business tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to gather all necessary information and documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and addressing tax-related concerns.
Review and verify accuracy of tax returns before final submission.
Stay informed of changes in tax laws and regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of client information.
Assist with office administrative tasks as needed during the tax season.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.

Previous experience in tax preparation or related field preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Proficient in using tax preparation software and office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Willingness to complete Liberty Tax’s training program, including obtaining required certifications.
