About the Role - Responsible for overall account and relationship management for The Home Depot US, The Home Depot Canada, and other national accounts.
Responsibilities
- Primary contact with the customer’s buying staff while maximizing the sales and profit potential for the account.
- Work closely with Marketing and Product Development teams and designers to help identify and/or adapt product opportunities that fit with the needs of the company’s customers and their customers.
- Develop promotional plans to maximize sales opportunities and provide cost and growth projections.
- Plan and present programs which are mutually profitable and beneficial.
- Provides topline monthly and annual business forecasts and assists in tracking program profitability.
- Evaluates market conditions and provides updated sales forecasts on a timely basis throughout the year.
- Regular market visits to review existing programs and competition.
- Work with other departments to resolve any compliance or accounting issues.
- Take an active role in preparing selling presentation and content.
- Develop ongoing tracking of all activities and selling objectives at all levels.
- Work with account analyst to develop account reporting and communicate account performance to others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5-7 years’ CPG and key account management experience focused on The Home Depot (required).
- Ability to collaborate across functions including marketing, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced skills in analytical management.
- Desire to contribute to a strong team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel when necessary.
- Lawn and Garden experience is a plus.
