Job Summary:
Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Box Truck Driver. As a driver, you will be going out to main stores to pick up their used tires. You will be going out with a Route Helper, a team of 2. Both of you are responsible for manually loading and stacking these used tires onto the back of the trucks. Each tire can weigh up to 50 lbs. at our Auburndale WI. facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have and maintain acceptable MVR in compliance with DOT
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience
- Must pass post-offer background and drug test
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. on a routine basis and 75 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed and some on Holiday’s.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Must be willing to start at 6:00 AM on most days and the ending time for the day depends on your daily route.
- Must be willing to load and lace the tires into the trailers.
Skills and Abilities:
- 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Must have and maintain acceptable MVR
- 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience (preferred)
- Must pass post offer background, DOT physical, company road test and drug test
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
Compensation:
- Between $20.00 - $22.00 hourly, paid bi-weekly.
