Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Associate you may be required to work across a variety of departments within the Liberty, NC facility, which may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Parts Sorting/Kitting
• Sand Blasting/Shot Blasting
• Trailer Preparation
• Plumbing (Air, Electrical, Hydraulic)
• Final Assembly (Tires, Decals, Decking)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow all Plant Safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Work individually or on a production team in a safety and quality focused environment.
• May require use of various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties.
• May be required to use overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, or pallet jacks to move large components or parts in and out of an area.
• May perform material handling, unloading/loading parts from tubs or baskets.
• May be required to wear a detail suit with a hood.
• Will be required to pay attention to detail and be self-motivated.
• Will be required to Cross-Train in other areas to provide operational flexibility.
• Will work in an environment without close supervision.
• Will be required to maintain a neat and clean work area.
• Perform other work related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, automotive, mechanical, or construction experience.
• Experience with Table Saws and Radial Arm Saws.
• Able to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Able to read a tape measure down to at least 1/16”.
• Good math skills and able to add/subtract/multiply/divide fractions and decimals down to .001”.
• Good vision

Top Candidates Qualifications may include:

• 1 to 3 years of assembly/repairing/troubleshooting experience.
• 1 to 3 years of automotive experience.
• 1 to 3 years of residential or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience reading and understanding factory orders, blueprints, schematics, or work tickets.
• Experience operating overhead cranes or jib cranes.
• Experience with assembly tools (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc.)
• Associate in Applied Science Degree – Automotive Systems, Electrical Systems
• Welding Experience.
• Military Service.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in fast paced, medium to heavy duty assembly environments.
• Must be able to work in hot or cold environments, work areas are heated.
• Frequently required for up to 10 hours:
• Bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, turn, climb, walk, and stand on concrete.
• Use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects and use tools.
• Use hands and arms to reach.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally required to:
• Climb, walk or balance using a ladder.
• Climb on a trailer.
• Push or pull items.
• Use vibrating equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting hourly pay rate of $16 per hour.
• $0.50 per hour pay incentive for excellent attendance.
• 1stShift Position, 40 hour work weeks with potential for Overtime.
• Monday thru Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm.
• Friday Overtime 7:00am to 5:30pm. (as needed)
• Saturday Overtime 7:00am to 3:30pm. (as needed)
