Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of department office and breakroom supplies as well as event and promotional materials; stock supplies in proper places for use.
- Weekly clean small kitchen space and conference room spaces.
- Organize storage closets, including an annual inventory and clean-out.
- Annually inventory movie library.
- Weekly inspect Cinematic Arts hallway posters and marquees, changing out posters as directed.
- Assist with event coordination, preparing materials, signage, decorations, etc. as directed.
- Occupy the front desk when the Administrative Assistant is unavailable, including answering phones and receiving visitors.
- Assist Administrative Assistant and Executive Assistant as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current LU student
- Reliability in completing tasks, fulfilling responsibilities, and fulfilling expected hours of work
- A friendly demeanor and a helpful spirit
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Willingness to learn about our program in order to direct questions from visitors and callers.
- Willingness to learn administrative processes and basic functions of computer applications
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Competent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Word, internet navigation, and file management.
- Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
- Alternately required to sit or stand to perform work.
- Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.
- Occasionally required to walk and climb stairs to move about the building.
- Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.
- Regularly lift 20 or fewer pounds.
