The Institutional Academic Operations Analyst Level I provide foundational support in maintaining the institutional academic operations by managing data, policy adherence, and supporting daily operations. This role focuses on performing data entry, assisting with basic process improvements, and maintaining records in alignment with institutional policies. The analyst works under supervision to assist with maintaining institutional data, conducting audits, and supporting the operational needs of academic departments. The Level I Analyst will also help support institutional academic compliance and accreditation needs by tracking relevant documentation and facilitating the onboarding of new academic policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Process Improvement and Data Analysis :
- Perform basic data entry, validation, and routine reporting to maintain data accuracy in institutional systems and databases.
- Support the VP of IER by assisting with process improvement activities such as data collection, organizing feedback, and streamlining operations.
- Assist in maintaining updated records of key metrics and contribute to the creation of gap analysis reports under supervision.
- Participate in basic benchmarking initiatives to support data-driven improvements in academic operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required.
1-2 years of experience with academic operations preferred.
Experience using MS Excel and Information Systems.
Experience using pivot tables, graphs and charts, VLOOKUP and other Excel functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data management.
Experience in project management or process improvement is a plus.
Knowledge of academic policies and procedures within higher education institutions is preferred.
