ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the full-time staff of LU Serve by completing professional administrative customer service tasks to enhance and fulfill the department outcomes.
Assist students, faculty, staff, and CSER supervisors with a high level of customer service as it pertains to policy questions and procedures regarding CSER.
When providing assistance on CSER related inquiries, provide excellent written and verbal communication through email, phone, online chat, and in-person.
Understand and utilize all CSER software for effective customer service.
Keep abreast of all CSER key dates and deadlines.
Provide support to Experiential Education Senior Director, Director, and coordinators.
Assist with any new Experiential Education initiatives.
Assist with other LU Serve initiatives as directed (e.g., Global Focus Week).
Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering the mission of LU Serve, the Office of Spiritual Development, and Liberty University.
Schedule requires student worker to commit 16-20 hours/week during office hours.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience:
Current on all CSER credits
Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office knowledge and experience
Strong customer service skills
Self-started and team player
ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOB
Communication and Comprehension
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
High level ability to structure written communication with accurate grammar and punctuation.
Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented.
Computer skills, especially Microsoft office; ability to learn new skills quickly.

Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
Physical and Sensory Abilities
Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations.
Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building.
Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.
