Liberty Village of Clinton is seeking a qualified Transportation Aide for our beautiful retirement community. - Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs.
- Assist nursing, activities, and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicle.
- Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments or outing.
- Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff.
- Report all incidents/accidents immediately.
- Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions/equipment immediately.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures
- Attend in-service training sessions as required.
- Operate transportation equipment in a safe manner.
- Clean up facility vehicle after completing transports daily.
- Maintain the confidentiality of resident care information.
- Subject to call back during emergency conditions (severe weather, evacuation, etc).
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition to nursing.
